I have been working from home and done project-based work since 2005 as part of my full-time employment and my own consulting business. I have learned to focus and to ensure deadlines are met.
I will always tell you the real status of the project and will communicate any issues as soon as I become aware of them.
I believe that stakeholders and especially the decision-makers should be aware of the real status of the project to be able to align expectations and make the most appropriate decisions. I have witnessed what happens when issues are concealed and deadlines are missed, and I will always report the true state of the application or of the project to the best of my professional expertise.
I will treat your data and any customer data that I come in contact with with strictest confidentiality and will not disclose it whether willingly or by accident.
Security is one of my strongest points. I am aware how to keep my work computer tightly secured. If required by the client or if I deem the project is too sensitive, I am ready to work in a virtual environment where any interaction with the client's data will be isolated. I also believe in separation of duties/roles and thus I request the minimal access to perform my duties.
I will treat all stakeholders of the project with courtesy and professionalism.
I establish rapport with all stakeholders easily and volunteer my knowledge in an accessible, friendly, yet professional manner.
